Let’s go!

Insight: Something shifted in November 2022 when openAI released chatGPT. Pace of AI advancement has been relentless. Big tech like Apple, Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft suddenly feel that they are old news and can’t move fast enough to catchup. Alliances are forming now between Big tech and nimble startups who are able to move and innovate at much faster pace.

OpenAI + Microsoft
HuggingFace + Amazon
Anthropic + Replit + Google
Meta + ??
Apple + ??

Meta has been releasing open source LLM’s and research papers. Only company that hasn’t announced any major moves is Apple. Those in the know think that it will all change in June WWDC, Apple’s worldwide developers conference.

🖍️ Creative uses: DoNotPay has been at the cutting edge of putting GPT to practical use by getting their GPT based bot to talk to customer service Bot from a broadband provider, even attempting to assist lawyer in real time in court via Airpods with real time guidance.

Here is their latest experiment that is pushing the limits of possibility and usefulness

Finding Waldo using AI. Why not 😀

❓️ Prompt: I like trying out different prompts with ChatGPT and here is something I tried and found it really fun

Prompt 1 : Explain “subject or topic” like I am 5

Prompt 2 : Explain “Subject or topic” like I am 85

See how the responses compare

🔉 Podcast : “AI Dilemma” aims to close the gap between what the world hears publicly about AI from splashy CEO presentations and what the people who are closest to the risks and harms inside AI labs are telling us.

Highly recommended listen. In my opinion this does a much better job of starting a discussion than calling a 6 months ban on AI research

☁️ Thought: “With AI I feel like an octopus with 8 arms. Only couple of them are strong, AI makes others strong and useful

❓️Question: What are your ideas that were a pipe dream once are now suddenly possible with all these AI advancements?
